Life is all about action. All great people are known because of their actions and achievements. Even in today’s world all successful, rich, famous and celebrities are those whose life is driven by action. You can be one such too. Reduce wastage of energy on too much thinking, speaking and purposeless activities. At the same do not plan too much or too big. Focus on systematic, sensibly planned action rather than result.

Do not wait for events to occur. Be proactive to take action in time. An action in time can save you from disaster and yield good results.

Let your actions be positive and constructive. Think positive, feel positive, speak positive, act positive, interact positive. No point thinking or feeling negative about yourself or circumstances. Remember opportunities lies in you not in circumstances. Even in negative circumstance, keep calm and act positive.

There are two enemies within. Lethargy and impulsiveness. Shed lethargy and be active. Let your actions be the source of energy. Do not be impulsive as this will only results in wrong and bad actions. Judge the situation and act appropriately.

We create self identity and happiness through achievements. If we see our journey of life achievements starts early in life. A child grasp something or learns to sit or walk is achievement. We learn to dress, read and write, progress in school and college, get a job and rise, earn money and fame, develop new relations and so on. Achievements can be academic, professional, financial, social, emotional, personal, spiritual etc. They all help in shaping our personality.

Achievements depends on:
-       Ambitions
-       Value of achievements
-       Assessment of self abilities
-       Past achievements
-       Motivation level
-       Approach to task

If you wish to be an achiever, then:

-       Make realistic assessment of self and circumstances
-       Set realistic goals and plan your task carefully
-       Make consistent effort
-       Do not let both success and failure affect your journey

Human beings are in the habit of accumulation. Be it wealth, clothes, jewelry and even memory. We tend to overlook need, utility and the bad effect this puts on us. It progresses to the extent of addiction. We add on and on. We may not use them or even remember that we have them but the feeling of having ‘much’ with or without in comparison to others becomes necessary. The basic cause behind this is insecurity and inferiority.

The person may feel gratified with accumulation but is not able to live a real happy life. A feeling of insufficiency will always bother. The burden of dependence does not allow freedom of mind. These accumulations are used to create an identity. But the real elements of identity are not worked upon. This affects the growth which in turn affects happiness.

We as human beings need independence and freedom to let our mind grow and develop. Therefore avoid unnecessary accumulations in life.

Acceptance helps to live without frustration and also to move on and grow. Acceptance is many fold – one is acceptance of self and second is acceptance of others and third is acceptance of life and world

Shortcomings in self (I am not beautiful, I am not intelligent etc) leads to frustration. If one is not able to accept, this result in feeling of hopelessness as we then loses motivation to make efforts and grow. But acceptance does not mean that there is no scope of improvement. Acceptance does not mean stagnation. It only means not to feel too negative about how the conditions are. Once you accept, you are calm and this helps in channelizing your energies into efforts to improve conditions and make life better.

Acceptance of others means not to be judgemental about others. Accept them as they are. Every human being is unique. Others may not think or act as you would. That does not mean he or she is wrong or bad. Even if there are some obvious errors, do not judge. To err is human. Most of the times intentions of the other person are not bad but we assume so. Forgive others. This will make you feel better. And even if you wish to bring about some change then try love in place of anger. You will get better results.

No one can have a life as per his or her choice. There are bound to be disappointments, failures, losses or other reasons of unhappiness. Acceptance helps one to move on. And remember if you have not accepted, the negative emotions will hurt your health both physical and mental. So there is no point carrying negativity. Accept life as it comes and move on. You will be able to live light and enjoy life.

Caution : Acceptance does not mean that you let laziness make excuses and do not make efforts to bring about positive changes. It is our duty to make positive efforts to make things better.
